Supanova Sydney 2018

It's been a few days since Supanova finished, and I'm still trying to relax and let settle the amazing time I had over the long weekend. Before I start with everything that happened, I just want to thank Royd and Ineke from Supanova for having us back again, words don't seem fitting for how James and I feel about their faith in us. I would like to thank the extended family that is QBD books, in particular Jeremy who has shown us nothing but kindness, and I want to thank Paige our PA, who was the rock with which we clung to. James and I would do just about anything for Supanova and QBD books, who have been nothing but supportive on our literary journey.

Over the three days, we met an amazing array of characters, Stephen Amell (Arrow), Finn Jones (Iron fist), Kathleen Turner (Romancing the stone), Richard Dreyfuss (Jaws), Summer Glau (Firefly), Stan the man, and of course Chuck Norris. The movie and TV celebrities were great, but it was the authors that humbled me with their kindness and brilliance. Alan Baxter, Lynette Noni, Maria Lewis, and Kate Forsyth. Australian writers that have seen it all, and written about it. Last I would like to thank Raymond E Feist, author of the rift war and empire series, just to name a few, who entertained us with interesting stories and advice, not to mention signing my 1st edition copy of Magician.

The coolest part of the trip was hanging with my two talented brothers James, and Ryan, as well as my three wonderful kids, who I hope think their old man is sort of cool. But at the end of the day, it is the people who took the time to get their books signed, and talk to someone lucky enough to write down the stories in their head. I hope you enjoy the books, and the many, I promise will follow.
